Charm++ parallel programming system

hello please kindly help out in these matters:
 
1) I am trying to check the repository through cvs 
-d:pserver:checkout AT charm.cs.uiuc.edu:/cvsroot
 login; but after pressing enter without entering anything the connection is 
getting aborted. Do i need to the password if no then can you please guide in 
cheking the repository.
2) you have given to check out the client program written in java in 
charm/java/bin/lvClient but there is no such directory.
3)I have gone through the java code charm/java/charm/liveViz. but there is no 
docment available how to run the     code and how does that implemented on 
multiple nodes. 
Please clarify my doubts.
