Respected Sir/madam,


I am a beginner in Molecular Dynamics simulation, When I m trying NAMD in VEGA ZZ and run the simulation its coming in command promt 
Charrm ++ Fatal Error 
Fatal Error Parameter not found in the configuration file.

Please help me in this regard.

Yes it can.  If you modify the first line of the netconfig file to
disable the transceiver:

USE_TRANSCEIVER 0

Then it will expect you to load the communication from trace files.

Also, in case there was some confusion in the matter, the IB simulation
stands for Input Buffered (as opposed to Output Buffered) not as an
abbreviation for infiniband.

Hello Adamantini,

Can you give some details about which machine you are trying to build
BigNetSim on?

All you should have to do is build charm with the following options (
http://charm.cs.illinois.edu/manuals/html/bignetsim/1_2.html):
./build bgampi net-linux-x86_64
./build pose net-linux-x86_64

And then point BigNetSim to this charm and type make in the respective
network directory that you are trying to build.

Please get the latest released version of NAMD, 2.7, and not its beta
(2.7b1). If the Charm++ included with that has trouble, then come back
and include the output from that.
