Hi Ben and Michael,

Could you please tell me what you have done? I tried to complied AMPI on my Xeon Phi but it didn't work.
Another question I have is if you were able to execute a Charm or AMPI program in both the host and the card. I mean, a single run with objects / threads in both the Xeon Phi and the host.

Thanks for the help,
Eduardo

Hey Eduardo,

There is some work being done to enable Charm to run on the Phi. Currently we can run on the device by building Charm directly on the MPI layer. This allows us to utilize the card as a small cluster of 60 nodes. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Hi,

Is there already a version of AMPI/Charm for Intel Xeon Phi ? I mean,
a version that would treat the board just as a regular x86 node.

Thanks in advance,
Eduardo
