I believe you can cite Gengbin's thesis. In his thesis he also cites the paper 'The virtualization model of parallel programming : Runtime optimizations and the state of art' in the load evaluation section of his thesis.

Dear PPL,

I have a colleague that was asking me if there is any paper or technical report explaining how the load of a chare is measured so he can cite it. Would you be kind enough to point me to any document that could be used for citation?

Best regards,
