Mark,

Here are the steps I have taken so far to get the PHP interface working:

cp -r curator-0.6.9/curator-interfaces/gen-php
curator-0.6.9/dist/client-examples/php/thrift/packages

edit curator-0.6.9/dist/client-examples/php/lib/CURATORCONFIG.php
(change $curator_hostname to "localhost")

cd curator-0.6.9/dist/client-examples/php; ln -s templates templates_c

modify curator-0.6.9/dist/client-examples/php/lib/annotate.php by
adding the following:
if (!array_key_exists('text', $_POST)) {
parse_str($_SERVER["_POST"], $_POST);
}
(this allows $_POST to be loaded from an environment variable)

export
_POST="text=Hello%20my%20name%20is%20Bob.&service=multilabeler&annotations[]=sentences&annotations[]=tokens&annotations[]=pos&host=localhost&port=9090"

start servers:

curator-0.6.9/dist: bin/illinois-pos-server.sh -p 9091 >& logs/pos.log &

curator-0.6.9/dist: bin/curator.sh --annotators
configs/annotators-example.xml --port 9090 --threads 10 >&
logs/curator.log &

Curator seems to be running at this point; the last line of curator.log is

14:52:30.109 [Client Version Updater] INFO
e.i.c.cogcomp.curator.CuratorHandler - {tokens=illinoistokenizer-0.4,
charniak=charniak-0.7, pos=illinoispos-0.2,
sentences=illinoistokenizer-0.4}

But I'm not sure what to make of the following runtime error:

curator-0.6.9/dist/client-examples/php: php annotate.php
<p><code><pre>Invalid method name:
'labelRecord'</pre></code></p><code><pre>exception

Any advice?

Thanks,
Nathan
