Hi, Paul.

I think the simplest way to handle this is to post-process the data to remove the entities with the types you don't need.  The alternative would be to train a new model using ontonotes data, using just the types you are interested in.

Mark

Subject: [Illinois-ml-nlp-users] Illinois Named Entity Tagger

Dear Sir:

I want to use Illinois Named Entity Tagger in Ontonotes model, but I don't need all 18 types of entities. So, I revised the
"labelTypes" in Ontonotes config file, removed some types I don't need. When I run the system with the revised config
file, the tagger still tagged all 18 types of entities. Please give me advice how to change the 18 types to its subset.

Thank you very much.

Paul
