I'm pleased to announce that Ellef Gjellstad has graciously handed  
over his Maude mode for emacs to me.  The code now resides at  
sourceforge at http://sourceforge.net/projects/maude-mode ; the most  
recent version is available from subversion or at http://maude- 
mode.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/maude-mode/trunk/maude- 
mode.el

Changes from Ellef's maude-mode2.el include:

- - inferior-maude-mode is now tested on Unix platforms and supports  
Maude's color output and mouse-active compile errors
- - The new key combo C-c C-z switches point between the buffer running  
the Maude process and the most recent Maude source code buffer,  
starting Maude if necessary
- - Some support for M-x customize (support for customization of faces  
yet to be done)
- - At the suggestion of Ellef, renamed the file to maude-mode.el
- - support for imenu and speedbar
- - various tweaks and fixes

The code has been tested on emacs versions 21 and 22 and xemacs  
version 21.  Bug reports and patches (and a webpage for the project,  
if someone likes to do this kind of stuff) are welcome, either by  
private mail or to maude-mode-users AT lists.sourceforge.net.
