The Department of Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) invites students, translators, researchers, developers, and users interested
in machine translation to participate in the 2015 Machine Translation workshop at UIUC. This week long event, generously sponsored by Bloomberg, will include:
· Machine
Translation Lectures and hands-on labs, ranging from beginners tutorials to showcase talks by leading researchers, including Philipp Koehn, David Chiang,
and Kenneth Heafield. Everyone can learn or strengthen their knowledge.
· Technical
talks about open source tools for Machine Translation
· Interested
participants with programming skills are invited to take part in open source Machine Translation hacking projects, led by experienced developers and world-renowned MT researchers.
The event will take place on May 10-15 at the I-Hotel and Conference Center, located at 1900 S. 1st Street, Champaign, IL 61820.

Career recruiters from Bloomberg will also be present at the event for discussion with any interested students.
