General talk about software patterns

     Do you teach university or professional courses on object-oriented
     technology?  Have you found ways to use patterns to teach OOP in a
     novel, effective way?  If so we invite you to share your 
experiences
     with the OO education community by submitting a contribution to the
     OOPSLA 2005 Educators Symposium!

     OOPSLA invites educators and trainers from all levels of academia
     and industry to submit papers and proposals in any area relevant
     to OO education and training.  These include teaching techniques,
     understanding how students learn, the use of educational materials
     such as software, and even the use of agile development approaches
     in courses.

     The program committee solicits a variety of submissions that can
     help OO educators and trainers do their jobs better, including
     papers and panel proposals.

     This year, we especially seek submission of "nifty assignments".
     For the last few years, the SIGCSE conference has featured a
     popular Nifty Assignments track <http://nifty.stanford.edu/>
     for sharing great assignment ideas and their materials.  We
     invite you to share *your* great OOP assignments with other
     educators who have a special interest in OO instruction.
