Call for Papers
The International Journal of Software Architectures - IJSA
Special journal issue on: "Stable and Evolvable Software:
Architectures, Patterns, and Environments"

We are soliciting high quality submissions for a special journal
issue on:

"Stable and Evolvable Software: Architectures, Patterns, and
Environments"

To appear in the International Journal of Software Architectures - IJSA

We welcome manuscripts describing original and high quality
contributions on the state-of-the-art and the state-of-the-practice of
stable and evolvable software architectures. Manuscripts reporting on
industrial experiences, empirical, evidence-based pitfalls and
negative results are of particular interest for this themed issue.

Topic of interest includes but not limited to:

* Stable and evolvable software architectures
* Evolvable but dependable software architectures
* Relating non-functional requirements to software architecture
* Stability and evolution in Model-Driven Architectures
* Stability and evolution in Software Product-Line architectures
* Stability and evolution in Middleware-Induced Software Architectures
* Stability and evolution in Aspect-Oriented Software Architectures
* Stability and evolution in Service-Oriented Software Architectures
* Stable architectures for dynamic environments (e.g., architectures
for both fixed and mobile settings, for data-driven environments)
Stable architectural patterns, styles, tactics
* Architectural Knowledge for stable and dependable software
* Tools and environments for supporting the development and evolution
of stable software architectures.

The International Journal of Software Architectures (IJSA) is an
on-line, peer-reviewed quarterly e-journal, published by vrlSoft, Inc,
USA. This e-journal is designed specially for the use of experienced
software architects, software engineering researchers, practitioners,
educators and software developers. More information on IJSA can be

Submission information:
---------------------------------
Manuscripts prepared with latex are preferred for final publication
but initial submissions can be in any double spaced format. Long
papers should not be over 40 manuscript pages in length (12 point
type, double-spaced, 5 cm margins (2 inch) on one side of the paper
only); short papers should not be over 30 double-spaced manuscript
pages including figures, references, acknowledgments, footnotes,
tables, and captions. As all papers are copy-edited, a double-spaced
