Call for Pattern Newcomers

PLoP 2011 will have a special pre-conference session (a full day before the
conference) aimed at those who are new to patterns. This session provides
an introduction to the patterns community, a "boot camp" for newcomers. It
will include: an overview of pattern's, a training / mentoring / experiencing
activity, where participants will be immersed in patterns and emerge with an
enlarged perspective and an ability to get more out of the PLoP conference.
This year the Bootcamp will be led by Joe Yoder, Rebecca Wirfs-Brock and Bob
Hanmer. The bootcamp will start early on October 20, 2011 at the PLoP and
SPLASH convention hotel.
